Eva began her musical career at the Music Academy in her hometown Turnhout, under the guidance of J. Janssens with the Suzuki Method. Later, she continued her education at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Antwerp with Déjan Mijajev. At the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, she graduated with high distinction, earning both the First Prize Violin and Chamber Music, again under Mijajev. She pursued her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Violin with Philippe Hirshorn.

To further her development, Eva moved to the United States. In 1999, she obtained the prestigious Performance Diploma in Violin at the Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, under the guidance of Violaine Melançon, a student of Ivan Galamian. During her time in the U.S., she performed as a soloist, in duet with pianist Jesús Gomez, and became a member of the chamber orchestra Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia (Curtis Institute), the Academy of Vocal Arts Opera Company, and the Elixir String Quartet.

Eva performed at various international festivals, including the Princeton Opera Festival (New Jersey), chamber music festivals in Vermont, Santander, and Lausanne. Additionally, she participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians such as H. Krebbers, B. Kaplan, P. Vernikov, M. Lubotsky, and the Alban Berg Quartet.

After her return to Belgium, Eva became a member of the chamber orchestra Beethoven Academie. Additionally, she worked as a freelancer for orchestras such as the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, the Brussels Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Belgium, and the chamber orchestra Casco Phil. Her specialization is primarily in chamber music. In 2001, she co-founded the string orchestra De Turnhoutse Snaar and became the violinist of the Duo Amabile with pianist Kim Van den Brempt. This duo performed both domestically and internationally, including live on Radio Klara, for Queen Fabiola, and released a CD recording. She was also the second violinist of the Kryptos Quartet, which performed at the Festival van Vlaanderen, the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival (Finland), and reached the finals of the Shostakovich String Quartet Competition in Moscow.

From 2005, Eva was the first violinist of the Kirke String Quartet. With this quartet, she managed numerous concert series, toured with Les Ballets C de la B under the direction of Koen Augustijnen (2006–2008), and recorded a live CD. The quartet studied at the Orpheus Institute and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. In that same year, Eva also founded the Donnacorda Ensemble, which in 2008 gave rise to the Donnacorda String Quartet. This quartet continues to perform today in cultural centers across Belgium and Europe. A highlight was the octet concert with the renowned Prazák Quartet during the Mendelssohn Musikwoche in Wengen (2014) and the CD recording The American at deSingel (2014), which is frequently broadcasted on Radio Klara.

Since 2010, Eva has been a violin teacher at the Kunsthumaniora stArt in Turnhout, and since 2011, she has been a violinist in the Tirzah Quartet. Additionally, she plays in various chamber music groups, including Duo Tirzah, the Trio Donnacorda, and since 2017, the Claver Duo with pianist Fleur Claessen. Together, they released the album Underwood in 2020 and created the performance The Violin of Einstein in 2021 with support from the Flemish government. Since 2025, Eva has also been a member of the Antwerp String Quartet.

In addition to her involvement in the classical music world, Eva is active in other genres. Since 2018, she has been performing gypsy swing jazz in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli with Le Hot Club de Campine. As a violinist and backing vocalist, she has collaborated with the pop group Les Talons Gitans and artists such as Björk, Toots Thielemans, Kenny Werner, Ozark Henry, Deus, Axelle Red, Kanye West, Scala, Zornik, Tom Dice, Will Tura, Clouseau, Jasper Steverlinck, Cappaert, and many others.

Eva has also regularly contributed to the world of film and television productions. She worked on recordings for international composers like Klaus Badelt (James Bond, Charlotte, Impasse, Annette, The Sympathizer for HBO/Netflix) and for Belgian composer Steve Willaert (Le Petit Chef 2025, Als de Dijken Breken, Déjà Vu, Studio 100 productions, K3, etc.). Her recordings took place in various studios, including Galaxy Studios (Mol) and Studio Dada & ICP (Brussels).

Today, Eva combines a versatile career as a violinist, teacher, and chamber musician, with performances and collaborations both nationally and internationally, in classical music as well as in crossover projects.
